If your company is conducting business in any Province across Canada and you need your current written health and safety program converted to meet with provincial health and safety regulations – we can definitely help you.
In each province or territory in Canada, there is an Occupational Health and Safety Act which applies to most workplaces in that region. At the provincial and territorial level, the name of the government department responsible for OH&S varies with each jurisdiction. Usually it is called either the ministry or department of labour or the workers' compensation board or commission that has the responsibility for occupational health and safety.
Each provincial or territorial department is responsible for the administration and enforcement of its occupational health and safety act and regulations. Occupational Health and Safety Regulations are all different and specific for each Province
For example; if you business is from BC and conducting business in Alberta, you cannot use a BC regulated health and safety program in Alberta; your program must meet with the regulation requirements in Alberta.
