With thousands of lift truck related injuries and fatalities occurring each year, this online Counterbalanced Forklifts course aims to reduce the risks related to sit-down, vertical mast forklifts by teaching you how to become a safe lift truck operator. This course was written to comply with the requirements for theory training as outlined in: CSA Standard B335-15, ANSI Standard B56.1 and OSHA 1910.178. Testing conducted throughout this online Counterbalanced Forklifts course is designed to reinforce the information presented. A mark of 80% must be achieved in order to receive a certificate of completion. Participants are able to repeat the course two times if the pass mark is not achieved on the first attempt. Supplemental materials for this course can be accessed online. Upon successful completion of this online course, a certificate of completion will be available to download and print. This course satisfies BC's requirements for the classroom portion of operator safety training. Quiz questions along the way prepare you for the final written exam. Upon completion, you will gain access to your certificate and a checklist which can be used by your employer to administer the required practical observation. This Lift Truck (Fork Lift) training program has been developed in accordance with WorkSafeBC OHSR Regulation and the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) Standard B335-15, Industrial Lift Truck Operator Training.

You will receive your complete and full certification after the theory portion of the course. However, in order to finalize your certification as per CSA Standards, a practical evaluation needs to be completed at some point. So how is this done through an online course? It's quite easy actually. A mark of 80% must be achieved in order to pass this course. The course is able to be taken TWO times in efforts to achieve the pass mark. Upon successful completion of this online course, a certificate of completion will be available for download and printing. This certification expires every 3 years.
