When it’s time for forklift operator training, safety matters most and all our clients can count on Western Health and Safety Consulting for safe, comprehensive training to benefit your employees and your overall operation. Our forklift operator training course will not only make your business more efficient and safe, it’s also a legal requirement in BC. This is a one day 8 hour certification course includes classroom training, written theory exam, practical hands-on training and practical evaluation. Participants will receive in-depth and extensive instruction on all applicable regulations, safe lift truck operations and hands-on practical training. Upon successful completion of this program all participants will receive signed documentation which will verify they are certified operators in BC. This Lift Truck (Fork Lift) training program has been developed in accordance with WorkSafeBC OHSR Regulation and the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) Standard B335-94, Industrial Lift Truck Operator Training.

With thousands of lift truck related injuries and fatalities occurring each year, this online Counterbalanced Forklifts course aims to reduce the risks related to sit-down, vertical mast forklifts by teaching you how to become a safe lift truck operator. This course was written to comply with the requirements for theory training as outlined in: CSA Standard B335, ANSI Standard B56.1 and OSHA 1910.178. Testing conducted throughout this online Counterbalanced Forklifts course is designed to reinforce the information presented. A mark of 80% must be achieved in order to receive a certificate of completion. Participants are able to repeat the course two times if the pass mark is not achieved on the first attempt. Supplemental materials for this course can be accessed online. Upon successful completion of this online course, a certificate of completion will be available to download and print. This course satisfies Canada's requirements for the classroom portion of operator safety training. Quiz questions along the way prepare you for the final written exam. Upon completion, you will gain access to your certificate and a checklist which can be used by your employer to administer the required practical observation.
